Here Goes Nothing

Why does everyone judge me so?
No one knows me,
Or understands me.

Since all everyone does anymore is judge,
I'm putting my wall back up...
Until someone proves worthy enough,
To get past it...
To break through my barrier.

I'm giving up again,
Since my trust has been broken...
My guard is going up and,
I'm not gonna change my mind.

I need to protect myself,
From this thing called life,
That I have no escape from.
I can't get away...
Its completely unavoidable.

My only escape is --
Through my words,
So here goes nothing...
